we’ve also provided the actual PDF versions of every study cited in Making the Case

"Music Makes a Difference" Grant Program
Nashville Singers started a new program in 2011 to help support music education in our
schools and the community. The Music Makes a Difference grant program is designed to
provide financial assistance to school music programs serving “at risk” youth.
What's new this year?
Increased access to funding
Last year, this grant funding was limited to Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) in
Davidson County. In 2012, this grant funding will be available to any school or independent
music program in Middle Tennessee.
Increased funding
Last year we were able to fund one $500 grant. Due to our success in 2011, in 2012 we will
be offering two $500 grants.
